Abstract submission
Abstract submission is now closed.
Submitted abstracts will be reviewed and selected by the workshop’s Scientific Committee for oral presentation. You will receive a confirmation email after your Abstract Submission has been successfully received.
Email notification of programming decisions will come from the secretariat shortly after the expiry of deadlines and the working program will be posted to the web site. The notification will include specific presentation instructions. All selected contributions will be included in the workshop’s book of abstracts. The quality of science and relevance to the workshop themes and topics will be the sole criteria applied by Scientific Organizing Committee to select the abstract for oral presentation.
Abstract review criteria:
- Relevance to the workshop topics;
- Significance of the scientific question(s) and results;
- Style and Organization (e.g., the abstract has a clear beginning, middle and end) ;
- Clear question or hypothesis;
- Sufficient background;
- The approach and rationale are clear;
- The results are clearly presented;
- The interpretation and conclusions are reasonable and logical.
A couple of weeks before the workshop, the final program will be published to this web page along with hyperlinks to the abstracts. The abstracts will also be available on the workshop abstracts web page.
Special Journal Issues
hSNS Workshop 2021 is teaming up with a Special Journal Issue on the Socio-Economic Planning Sciences Journal. A number of selected high-impact abstracts will also be considered for the special journal issue. All submitted abstracts will have the opportunity to be considered for this Special Journal Issue. The paper selection will be carried out during the peer review process as well as at the workshop presentation stage. Submitted papers must not be under consideration by any other journal or publication and will be subject to a separate review following the Journal guidelines.
